ECO-HIKE:Eagle Creek & Punch Bowl
Falls; Saturday, 10am-4pm.
Meet at 9:45a.m. at Manifest's NE studio, 4906 NE 22nd Ave (1/2 block south of Alberta St.) to carpool.
This easy
hike has very little elevation change but is about 4 miles to an amazing set of
waterfalls and wonderful swimming holes. The famous Punch Bowl Falls is a
deep pool great for diving and getting cool on a hot day. There is a much
larger, shallower pool for swimming or wading. Further down the trail
there are spectacular canyons, old growth, and a falls you can walk
behind.
We’ll carpool out to the trail head at 10am (meet at Manifest
Studio, near NE 22nd & Alberta), and come back into the city about 4 pm (a
car may come back earlier if a group wants to get back into town by 2 or 3 pm).
Donation:$8-$20 sliding scale; work-study available if you call in advance. (Please call by 5 pm any weekday BEFORE the event.)
